Weekend's top individual performers

From Press Democrat Assistant Sports Editor Jared Cowley:

Sorry this post is coming in so late tonight (actually, it’s early Sunday morning). I planned to get these up Saturday afternoon, but sometimes best laid plans … well, you know. Anyway, there were some incredible performances from our local athletes this weekend. As always, if we misspell a name or fail to mention a player worthy of attention, let us know. Either post a comment at the bottom of this blog entry, or e-mail us at sports@pressdemocrat.com. A quick disclaimer: We’ve had a hard time getting any information on the winning team in Windsor’s 38-7 victory against El Molino. So if any of you were at the game, or if a coach is reading this and knows some of the players who deserve credit, post it to the end of this blog. The same goes for Saturday’s game between Maria Carrillo and Elsie Allen, we didn’t receive any information on that game. Thanks. With that out of the way, here are the top performers from this weekend’s games. If you see the name of a friend, boyfriend, brother, son, cousin, whatever, let them know about it.
