There are still some games to be played today (Saturday), including an NBL matchup between Maria Carrillo and Piner, but I wanted to credit some of Friday’s top individual performances in Empire football. Analy (29-7 loss to Casa Grande)

Quarterback David Glass threw three interceptions, but he also had 182 passing yards and 62 rushing yards.

Casa Grande (29-7 win against Analy)

Quarterback Matt O’Brien completed 9 of 20 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns.

Matt Nadolski caught two of O’Brien’s touchdown throws, and had one of Casa’s three interceptions.

Kahlil Keys had 23 rushes for 202 yards.

Cardinal Newman (40-0 win against Santa Rosa)

Randy Wright completed 9 of 13 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half. He didn’t play a single down after halftime.

Wade Amaral caught three touchdowns, the third consecutive week he’s done that.

Joe Ferguson rushed six times for 101 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Healdsburg (25-14 win against Windsor)

Zach Shippey completed 12 of 21 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns.

Paul Wilson caught both touchdowns from Shippey.

Windsor (25-14 win against Healdsburg)

Camerion Erion rushed for 134 yards on 12 carries, and had a touchdown.

Kory Langhals had 10 tackles, six assists and two sacks.

Sonoma (30-20 win against El Molino)

Nick Fedrick had 20 rushes for 100 yards, and scored three touchdowns.

Michael Mulas had 13 tackles.

El Molino (30-20 loss to Sonoma)

Quarterback Tony DeMarco threw two touchdown passes.

Rancho Cotate (58-0 win against Elsie Allen)

Brian Dworkin had 11 rushes for 122 yards and three touchdowns. He also had two catches for 59 yards.

Anthony Bernard had two rushing touchdowns.

Ukiah (37-20 win against Montgomery)

Quarterback Kyle Morris completed 16 of 30 passes for 229 yards and four touchdowns.

Kyle Mayfield caught all four touchdown throws from Morris, finishing with eight total catches for 143 yards.

Marcos Hernandez had 20 rushes for 157 yards and a touchdown.

Montgomery (37-20 loss against Ukiah)

Alex Ciudad’Real had nine rushes for 85 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown run.

Quarterback Max Heller completed 9 of 18 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
