Analy football

It is Dan Bourdon’s second season as head football coach at Analy and his team has attended the Tomales camp and plans on attending another camp in early August.

“It’s the only time we’re in full pads and it’s just good to check out the players that way,” he said.

Analy players condition and lift weights most of the summer and attend passing leagues.

QB candidates are junior Julian Titus, a receiver last year, and sophomore Jake Zanuto. Chris Bostock figures to be one of the team’s top receivers.

Bourdon is hoping for a more balanced attack between the run and pass this season. Last year’s JVs were an athletic group that should produce some varsity starters this season.  The offensive line is a key, Bourdon said, for a balanced attack.

Analy begins practice Aug. 17.

The Tigers open with Terra Linda at home, Sept. 4 and the rest of the preseason is at Piner, home against San Marin and at Santa Rosa.
