Remember this? User's Agreement for posting comments!

Following is a repeat of an earlier blog on comments,

Please read it carefully and adhere to it – For The Good Of The Game!

The best mission statement to come from any sport belongs to….you guessed it, soccer.
Simply stated, it says: “For the Good of the Game.”
And it is time to think of that first when you are commenting on any soccer blog. While comments are welcomed and healthy for the growth of the sport, at times they are getting out of hand.
Below, if you want to read it in its entirety, is the Users Agreement for commenting on any blogs on The Press Democrat website.
But the common sense Cliff’s Notes version is this: Please use common sense.
No gossip, no half-truths, no innuendo. The broader point here is to make the soccer community better for the kids playing the game. That won’t happen by hiding the truth, but it also won’t occur with idle gossip.
Sonoma County has reached a crossroads of sorts in the soccer world. New fields, new leadership at the club level, new faces in the coaching ranks.
Right here on this Blog you are getting a lot of your soccer “news” about the kids who do play and have played here and about changes in administrative posts from high school to clubs to the Sonoma County Sol.
And you are voicing your opinion more frequently. All that is good. Just keep it, as they say in soccer: “For the Good of the Game.”
