A few fun facts after Petaluma’s 40-14 win over Casa Grande in the Egg Bowl:
* Petaluma is off to its first 6-0 start since 1992. The Trojans’ last perfect regular season was in 1989 and they won their last league title in 2002.
* Petaluma had its biggest margin of victory in the series since beating Casa Grande, 57-0, in 1996.
* The loss matched Casa Grande’s worst regular-season defeat in seven years. The Gauchos lost to Maria Carrillo, 38-12, on Sept. 21, 2002.
* Casa Grande allowed its most points since a 55-6 loss to San Leandro on Oct. 19, 2001.
* Petaluma outscored Casa Grande 26-0 in the second half and outgained the Gauchos, 277-74.
