Santa Rosa RB Baker out for season

Posted by Staff Writer Eric Branch:
Santa Rosa junior running back Travis Baker, the Panthers’ leading rusher, will not play the rest of the season after suffering heat stroke in a 17-11 loss to Piner on Oct. 24.
Baker went to a hospital following the Saturday afternoon game, but did not stay overnight. Santa Rosa coach Tony Keefer said it was a scary situation and, in the aftermath, Baker and his parents decided he shouldn’t play in the Panthers’ final three games.
