Windsor football coach Fayter resigns

Posted by Staff Writer Eric Branch:
Windsor High football coach Jason Fayter has resigned after leading the Jaguars to a 6-5 record and a berth in the North Coast Section Division II playoffs in his seventh year at the school.
Fayter is leaving to spend more time with his family. He and his wife of three years, Barbara, are expecting their first child in May.
Fayter, 36, took over a program that went 4-36 in its first four years of existence. During his tenure, the Jaguars posted a 38-34 record, including a 20-22 mark in the Sonoma County League.
I’ll be writing a story for Friday’s paper that will include more details and information on Fayter’s resignation.
