Analy's Aronis could be sidelined with wrist injury

Analy senior guard Kevin Aronis could be sidelined for several weeks after injuring his right wrist in the Tigers’ 74-68 overtime win over Casa Grande on Thursday night.
Aronis, a first-team All-Empire pick last year who is averaging a team-high 16 points a game, will undergo an MRI on Tuesday morning. If he has a slight fracture, which is believed to be a possibility, he could miss from two to six weeks, depending on the location of the fracture.
Aronis suffered the injury after being fouled while dunking in overtime against Casa Grande. He fell hard to the court, but stayed in the game and made the subsequent foul shot. He said the adrenaline from the play quickly began to wear off, though, and he left the game after making the free throw. Aronis is being treated by Dr. Ken Fujii, the father of Analy junior point guard Max Fujii.
The Tigers, who won the North Coast Section Division III title last year, are 14-1 and have won 33 of their last 35 games.
