Davis named Windsor's football coach

Posted by Staff Writer Eric Branch:
Dustin Davis, who led the Windsor junior varsity program to a 29-0-1 record in his three seasons at the helm, has been promoted to take over the Jaguars’ varsity football program.
Davis, 29, will replace Jason Fayter, who resigned after Windsor’s 6-5 season to spend more time with his family. Davis will be the second-youngest of the 15 coaches in the Sonoma County League and North Bay League. Analy’s Dan Bourdon is 28.
Davis graduated from Mater Dei, a high school football powerhouse in Orange County, and was an all-conference linebacker at Orange Coast College and West Virginia Wesleyan, a Division II program.
Davis, who does not teach at Windsor, is the fitness and wellness director at Airport Health Club. He is single, but got engaged on Saturday.
I’ll have a complete story on Davis’ hiring for Thursday’s paper.
