The CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games will remain at the Home Depot Center in Carson for at least three more years, the CIF announced in a press release this week.
CIF director Marie M. Ishida said the state’s governing body considered six other venues before deciding to remain in Carson. The games have been played at the Home Depot Center since they returned in 2006 after a 78-year hiatus.
The other sites the CIF considered were Bakersfield College, Buchanan High in Clovis, San Jose State, Stanford and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
