Page vs. Page. Again.

The first time Analy boys’ basketball coach Brett Page tried to beat his son’s team was about eight years ago when Jason Page was playing for College of Marin.
Brett Page, then an assistant at Santa Rosa Junior College, recalls his son drilling his first 3-pointer. But then SRJC assigned a bigger player to guard Jason Page. And that player shut him down, the elder Page recalls with a laugh.
The friendly and rather long-running rivalry between father and son will continue Tuesday night when second-seeded Analy hosts No. 15 Sonoma in the first round of the North Coast Section Division III playoffs.
Jason Page, 26, is the junior varsity coach at Sonoma and also a varsity assistant. And matching wits from opposite sidelines has become somewhat commonplace for the Pages, who have already squared off three times this season.
Brett Page, 48, Analy’s junior varsity coach before taking over the varsity last year, also coached against Jason on the JV level when his son was the JV coach at El Molino and Sonoma.
