LARGE SCHOOLS
1. Rancho Cotate (19-6): It’s hard to ignore the Cougars past two wins over Montgomery, the Empire’s No. 1 team until now.
2. Montgomery (22-3): The second-seeded Vikings could be entering the Division II playoffs with a chip on their shoulder.
3. Analy (16-8): Who saw this coming? The SCL-champion Tigers went 13-35 from 2008-09.
4. Petaluma (15-7): The Trojans ended regular season with an impressive 8-3 win over Windsor.
5. Windsor (18-6): The Jaguars finished the regular season with three losses in five games.

SMALL SCHOOLS
1. Clear Lake (17-4): The Cardinals’ 12-game winning streak includes two wins over Cloverdale.
2. Cloverdale (17-4): Cherise McEnery (.527 BA) has seven hits, nine RBIs in past four games.
3. Tomales (16-2): The Braves, the No. 1 seed in Division VI, are seeking their first section title.
4. Fort Bragg (16-7): The Timberwolves will host Healdsburg in a first-round Division IV game Wednesday.
5. Calistoga (14-4): The Wildcats are 0-3 vs. Tomales — 13-1 vs. rest of their schedule.
