Windsor’s Williams selected in MLB Draft

Windsor shortstop Miles Williams was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 42nd round of the Major League Baseball Draft on Wednesday.
Williams, who has signed with Cal State Northridge, hit .338 with two homers and 12 RBIs as a senior. He also led the Jaguars with 12 stolen bases on 12 attempts and was a second-team selection on the all-Sonoma County League team. Williams, who attended Liberty Christian in Argyle, Texas, as a freshman, also earned all-SCL honors as a sophomore and junior.
