Strong, Britt in NCAA Final Four

It isn’t often we’ll get to say this: an Empire soccer player is going to be in the NCAA Tournament championship game.
No matter the outcome of Friday’s Final Four semifinal contest between USC and UCLA we are going to have a Montgomery Viking in the finals.
Stacey Strong is a starting junior defender for USC and Elise Britt is a freshman backup midfielder for UCLA. The winner of today’s game advances to the title match on Sunday at College Station, Texas.
So, thanks to Pat McDonald and the Montgomery soccer program and local club soccer we’ll be well-represented this weekend.
