Weekend’s Empire football highlights

Here’s a look at some of the top individual performances from last weekend’s slate of Empire high school football games:

Healdsburg running back Carson Seanor

Seanor rushed for 215 yards on 20 carries as Healdsburg improved to 5-0 with a 33-0 win over Petaluma. Seanor scored four touchdowns, the last one a 97-yard run which was the longest run in Healdsburg football history. For the season, Seanor has rushed for 594 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Montgomery running back Alex Cuidad-Real

Ciudad-Real rushed for a season-high 199 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown as Montgomery picked up its first win of the season with a 35-14 win against Ukiah. Cuidad-Real has rushed for 496 yards this season.

Middletown running back David Pike

Pike only rushed the ball six times but made the most of it in a 49-0 win over Cloverdale, rushing for 179 yards and four touchdowns. In the first quarter, Pike had three touchdowns on four carries with the longest of the three a 60-yard touchdown run.

Casa Grande running back Javonie Oden

Oden scored three touchdowns in the Gauchos’ 27-6 win against El Molino. Oden had two touchdowns on the ground and another through the air. Oden had 15 carries for 107 yards and caught three passes for 71-yards, including a 40-yard touchdown reception on a screen pass that gave Casa Grande a 14-0 lead in the second quarter.

Santa Rosa quarterback Kalen Rosselli

Rosselli threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another in Santa Rosa’s 62-0 win against Elsie Allen. Rosselli’s three touchdown passes – all in the first quarter — went for 44, 14 and 20 yards as Santa Rosa evened its record at 2-2.
