Tuesday could turn out to be a pivotal day for boys soccer in the North Bay League and the Sonoma County League.

In the NBL we are going to get an excellent chance to see just how good the four visiting teams are:

Piner at Maria Carrillo, 4 p.m.

Santa Rosa at Cardinal Newman, 4:30 p.m.

Rancho Cotate at Montgomery, 4:30 p.m.

Ukiah at Elsie Allen, 6 p.m.

All four home teams should be favored to win, although most of the games should be close.

In the SCL, a trio of matchups might not be as commpetitive, but it’s still a pivotal point in the season for all six teams.

Here is the schedule:

Petaluma at El Molino, 4 p.m.

Casa Grande at Analy, 7 p.m.

Windsor at Healdsburg, 7 p.m.

The best matchup here should be the game at Healdsburg. Anytime the ‘Hounds face their neighbors from Windsor it’s always good.
