Here’s a look at this weekend’s Sonoma County League football games:

Analy (4-4, 1-3) at Petaluma (1-6, 1-2)

Time: Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Last week: Analy lost to Casa Grande, 23-3. Petaluma did not play.

Notable: Petaluma is an improving team and with an extra week to prepare, Analy will be in for a tough game … After beginning the season with five straight losses under first-year coach Rich Krist, Petaluma defeated El Molino, 35-14, on Oct. 8 and lost to cross-town rival Casa Grande, 22-7, on Oct. 15 … Last year, the Trojans defeated Analy, 35-21, on their way to an unbeaten SCL season and 12-1 overall mark … The last time Analy won this rivalry was in 2006 … Analy has lost two straight since a 16-14 win over Healdsburg … In the loss to Casa, coach Dan Bourdon said afterwards his offense needs to step up. The Tigers had 147 yards of offense, 75 coming on the ground … Jake Zanutto has completed 101 of 195 passes with 11 TDs, but also has thrown 10 interceptions … Aaron Maher has caught six touchdowns while Julian Titus-Patino is averaging 11 yards per catch … Cooper Maloney is the go-to guy on offense, carrying 90 times for 374 yards.

Number to note: 43 — That’s the average yards Sean Benfield has been getting on his punts. The senior has punted 27 times.

Sonoma Valley (1-6, 0-3) at Casa Grande (6-1, 3-0)

Time: Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Last week: Sonoma lost to El Molino, 14-7. Casa Grande defeated Analy, 23-3.

Notable:  Casa has positioned itself to vie for the SCL crown. After hosting Sonoma, the Gauchos go to Windsor and finish up at home with Healdsburg … Ygnacio Valley (Concord), the only team to beat Casa this year, has a 4-3 record in the Diablo Valley League … Against Analy last Friday, the Gauchos played solid early and led 21-0 at halftime. Quarterback Nick Sherry said the team lost focus in the second half, scoring only a safety … Sherry is connecting on 60 percent of his passes. The senior’s primary targets have been Anthony Poole (31 catches) and Makana Garrigan (29) … Javonie Oden gives coach Trent Herzog an option to the passing game. Oden gets the bulk of the rushing work, carrying 85 times for 560 yards. Last Friday vs. Analy , he gained 94 yards … Sonoma has been having trouble putting point on the board. In its last three games, the Dragons have averaged under seven points per contest … The defense is playing well with Eric Clouse and Sean Daly leading the way with tackles and assists … Quarterback Sam Morgan has thrown three more interceptions than touchdowns.

Number to note: 1 — Jonathon Cole has caught one pass this year for Casa. It was a 26-yard touchdown strike.
