Here are your NCS semifinal predictions

The Montgomery girls and the Cardinal Newman boys are hurting.

The Sonoma Academy and Fort Bragg boys teams are on the road.

And I just can’t see how any of those four are going to win tonight in the North Coast Section tournament semifinals.

The really interesting facets of tonight’s games are the coaching matchups – Peter vs. Paul, Vinny vs. Pat, Debra vs. Nikki. If there are upsets tonight, that is where they will begin and end – with the coaches.

With that said, here we go:

Div. 1

at Maria Carrillo 3, Santa Rosa 0

– Until someone tells me otherwise, the Pumas aren’t going to lose … especially at home.

FINAL: Maria Carrillo 2, Santa Rosa 0

at Casa Grande 3, Montgomery 0

– Vikings hurting, Gauchos peaking at the right time; it might not be this easy, but CG is still feeling a bit dissed.

FINAL: Casa Grande 4, Montgomery 0

Div. III

at Elsie Allen High, Roseland Prep 2, Rincon Valley Christian 1

– Can RP win it all? This year, a resounding yes.

FINAL: Roseland Prep 2, RVC 1

at Rancho Cotate High, St. Vincent 3, Middletown 2

 – St. Vincent never seems to have a down season, do they?

FINAL: St. Vincent 2, Middletown 0

Div. I

at Montgomery 2, Maria Carrillo 1

– Vikings just might have the best player on the pitch this season, but do they have the best team? Tonight will go a long way to proving it.

FINAL: Montgomery 1, Maria Carrillo 1 (Montgomery wins, 4-3, PKs)

at Analy 3, Cardinal Newman 0

– Cardinals banged up, Tigers at home; Dixon playing a cat-and-mouse game; hopefully this will be the finale on Analy’s woeful field; and I am a Tiger believer.

FINAL: CN 0, Analy 0 (CN wins, 5-4, in PKs)

Div. II

at Kezar Stadium, Marin Academy 2, St. Vincent 0

– On historic field vs. tough opponent, St. Vincent will have a difficult time.

FINAL: Marin Academy 5, St. Vincent 1

at Justin-Siena 1, Fort Bragg 0

– Site switch from Timberwolf Stadium just might be the difference.

FINAL: Justin-Siena 2, Fort Bragg 0

Div. III

at Mendocino County Fairgrounds, Anderson Valley 3, Drew School 1

– AV consistent year after year and this year no different.

FINAL: Anderson Valley 3, Drew School 2

at Fremont Christian 3, Sonoma Academy 1

– If FC can be surprised, SA head coach Chris Ziemer will find a way. Guess here is that the home team just too talented.

FINAL: Sonoma Academy 1, Fremont Christian 0
