Analy ranked 9th in Division 3 football poll

Analy entered the Northern California prep football rankings, Casa Grande fell out, and several teams held spots in the latest poll.

Undefeated and poised to take the Sonoma County League title, Analy entered the Cal-Hi Sports poll ranked ninth in the Division III North.

Cardinal Newman is third in the Division III North. Also holding to a high ranking is Rancho Cotate at third in the Division II North. The undefeated North Bay League leaders meet Friday.

Casa Grande was bumped from the top 10 in the Division II North. Paradise gained the tenth spot because Paradise defeated the same Napa team that Casa Grande fell to early in the season.

Joining Casa Grande as a bubble team is St. Helena, in the Division III North. A trio of Empire squads are ranked among bubble teams in the Division IV North — Calistoga, St. Vincent, and Upper Lake.
