Wolverines can thank Jon Montez for keeping them on top. Last Friday, the 6-foot-5 junior calmly sank three straight free throws with 2.4 seconds remaining to give Willits a 55-54 victory over Cloverdale.

During current five-game win streak, Eagles’ average margin of victory is 21 points. Garrett Robert had 17 points, 10 steals and eight assists in last Friday’s win over Technology.

Following the crushing loss to No. 1 Willits, the Eagles must play road games at Lower Lake and Middletown this week.
