Notable: After finishing the 54-hole event in a tie for first at even par, Sonoma State’s Eric Ash and CSU Bakersfield’s Chase Goodvin settled the score in a sudden-victory playoff. Both drained their birdie putts on the first playoff hole, but Ash would emerge as the champion on the second playoff hole, rolling in an eagle to win the individual title. It is the first victory in nine collegiate tournaments for Ash, who recorded the second-best three-round score of his career, bringing in a 216. The Seawolves also took home the team title, besting second-place CSU Bakersfield by 10 strokes.
