1. CASA GRANDE

Win streak at 19. Gauchos haven’t lost since season opener Feb. 26 (Vacaville Wood, 4-2). Expect catcher Francis Christy to be selected in major league draft.

2. ANALY

Can clinch at least a share of SCL crown with wins this week at Piner and Elsie Allen.

3. MARIA CARRILLO

Three one-run losses have kept Pumas from owning 11-game win streak.

4. CARDINAL NEWMAN

Cardinals, hoping to finish second in NBL, must play three of last four games on road.

5. PINER

Coach Nick Green has turned around the program. Prospectors 14-5 overall and 7-2 in league.

1. PETALUMA

Trojans have won 16 in a row since dropping season opener March 7 to Pinole Valley. Dana Thomsen’s ERA is 0.92.

2. MARIA CARRILLO

Win streak at seven. Pumas score nearly seven runs per game while allowing three.

3. SANTA ROSA

Denia Vera has been carrying the pitching load since injury to Johanna Peelen. Panthers have won six in a row.

4. RANCHO COTATE

Cougars hitting .341 as team, led by Courtney Zaccagna (.488), Kazja Fa’agata Averbuck (.483), Vickie Espinoza (.476).

5. ANALY

Tigers (15-4) rebounded from lopsided loss to Petaluma with road wins over Sonoma Valley and Healdsburg.

Casa Grande hosts No. 3 Santa Rosa on Thursday.

1. ST. HELENA

Saints have outscored opponents, 88-28, during current nine-game win streak.

2. ST. VINCENT

Led by Dusty Oliver (0.50) and Alex Neve (2.39), Mustangs’ pitching staff allowing less than two runs per game.

3. SONOMA ACADEMY

Coyotes lost to St. Vincent, 4-3, last Tuesday but still have chance to tie for NCL II title.

4. KELSEYVILLE

Dropped a pair last week. Jake Peters (.438) and John Mark Reagan (.423) leading the offense.

5. FORT BRAGG

Timberwolves hitting .318 as team with Matt Hernandez, Tyler Ashby and Isaac Villalpando sporting the top averages.

No. 1 St. Helena visits Clear Lake on Friday.

SMALL SCHOOL GIRLS

1. CLOVERDALE

Eagles hold two-game lead in NCL I. Jasmin Orozco, Monica Lemley and Morgan Robinson each hitting above .450.

2. CLEAR LAKE

Lost by a run to Cloverdale last Tuesday. Cardinals own 8-2 record in league.

3. ST. VINCENT

Mustangs play tough non-league schedule or record would be better than 8-8.

4. LOWER LAKE

Top scoring team in NCL-I with 212 runs in 20 games.

5. CALISTOGA

Wildcats have team batting average of .436. Lily Waggoner (.625), Danielle Martin (.569) and Katelyn Butcher (.500) lead the way.
