Going into last week of regular season, Gauchos have already clinched their first NBL title. Win streak at 21.

2. ANALY

Tigers need one win in final two games to capture SCL outright. They finish up with Healdsburg and Petaluma.

MARIA CARRILLO

Will Pumas wind up second in NBL? They are currently tied with Cardinal Newman and Montgomery.

4. MONTGOMERY

Vikings pitchers have allowed only seven runs in last four games.

5. CARDINAL NEWMAN

Highest-scoring team in NBL with 133 runs in 22 games.

No. 1 Casa Grande at No. 4 Montgomery on Friday.

LARGE SCHOOL GIRLS

1. PETALUMA

Nine of the Trojans’ 19 (consecutive) wins have been shutouts.  Led by ace Dana Thomsen (13-1, 0.83 ERA), Petaluma’s staff ERA is 1.00.

2. MARIA CARRILLO

Pumas on nine-game win streak and can grab NBL title with one more victory.

3. CASA GRANDE

Began last week with disappointing loss at Ukiah. Gauchos then rebounded with sharp 4-0 win over Santa Rosa.

4. SANTA ROSA

Panthers had won six in a row before losing to Casa.

5. RANCHO COTATE

Cougars sitting second in NBL and finish up with Casa, Santa Rosa and Windsor.

No. 2 Maria Carrillo visits No. 4 Santa Rosa today.

SMALL SCHOOL BOYS

1. ST. HELENA

Win streak at 11. Saints have scored 97 runs in league play. That’s 22 more than any other team.

2. KELSEYVILLE

Knights pitchers the stingiest in NCL I, having allowed 26 runs in 10 games.

3. ST. VINCENT

Mustangs were upset by Tomales, 4-2, last Tuesday. It was only Mustangs’ fourth loss of the season.

4. SONOMA ACADEMY

Coyotes’ lone NCL II loss was by one run to St. Vincent.

5. CLEAR LAKE

Cardinals better on the road (5-2) than at home (6-5).

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 3 St. Vincent travels to No. 4 Sonoma Academy on Friday for game that likely will determine NCL II champ.

SMALL SCHOOL GIRLS

1. CLOVERDALE

Eagles’ only losses were to Salesian (17-1) and Petaluma (19-1).

2. CLEAR LAKE

Cardinals are second-best team in NCL I with 9-2 conference mark.

3. ST. VINCENT

Mustangs 7-0 in NCL II and will take league outright with one more win.

4. FORT BRAGG

Playing best ball of season having won three straight. Timberwolves now 7-5 in NCL I.

5. LOWER LAKE

Lost by cumulative 23-1 to Cloverdale and Clear Lake last week.

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 1 Cloverdale hosts No. 4 Fort Bragg on Friday.
