A potent Cal State L.A. offense got rolling on Sunday with a five-run fifth inning as the Golden Eagles downed Sonoma State 7-1 in the title game of the 2013 CCAA Baseball Championship at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton.

The loss didn't stop the Seawolves from qualifying for the NCAA Division II Tournament at Dixie State in St. George, Utah, beginning Thursday when they meet Cal State L.A. at 2 p.m.

The Seawolves (34-20) kept the Golden Eagles at bay for four innings, but four hits and an error opened the door for a big number in the fifth.

Garrett Schwartz drove in the Seawolves' only run with an RBI double in the top of the ninth inning. Justin Serrao and Devon Zenn also doubled for Sonoma State.

Top-seed Cal State Monterey Bay (38-15) will play No. 6 seed Chico State (34-16) and No. 3 seed Dixie State is set to take on No. 4 seed Grand Canyon (34-16).
