EDITOR: Bullying is un-American. The right wing veterans' organizations

like the VFW (it does stand for Veterans for War, right?) don't like the

politics of Veterans for Peace, and so they threatened to boycott the Rose

Parade unless the Veterans for Peace, winners of the first place

''Veterans-Other than Drill Teams'' trophy last year, were banned. Huh? Whose

parade is it, anyway? I wore the same green uniform as the rest of the Army in

Vietnam, but now I cannot march on Armed Forces Day with the other veterans

because I am for peace?

Our excellent Congresswoman, Lynn Woolsey, who was in the Rose Parade,

wants a Department of Peace. Guess she should have gone last in the parade so

the tender feelings of the right-wing, pro-war veterans aren't ruffled.
