DiRado places fourth in 400 IM final at world championships

BARCELONA, Spain — Maria Carrillo High grad Maya DiRado fell just shy of a bronze medal in the 400 individual medley at the FINA Swimming World Championships on Sunday.

The Stanford alum finished in 4:32.70, just behind teammate Elizabeth Beisel.
