Fort Bragg graduate earns all-conference nod

Jake Cimolino, a 2010 graduate of Fort Bragg High School and the All-Empire small-schools football player of the year his senior year, was named to the preseason All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference first team.

Cimolino, who’s entering his junior year at Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, became the first running back in the Empire to put together consecutive 2,000-yard seasons while at Fort Bragg.

Cimolino is coming off a season in which he rushed for 1,365 yards, caught 27 passes for 201 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.
