Upon further review, Analy shares the 2013 Sonoma County League girls golf title with Healdsburg. Both teams will receive a championship banner.

Coaches and the league commissioner determined Analy’s win in the SCL tournament Monday was not a tiebreaker after a closer look at league rules. Both teams finished with 11 points, so the tie stands. Healdsburg totaled nine points for league wins and two for a second-place finish in the SCL tournament. Analy had eight points in league play and three for the SCL tournament win.

The decision does not change where the teams play next in the North Coast Section.

Analy, with the SCL tournament win, and Maria Carrillo, winner of the North Bay League, advance to the NCS Division I Tournament of Champions on Oct.28 at Peacock Gap Golf Club in San Rafael. Healdsburg and Ukiah advance to the NCS Division I qualifier Monday at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord.

Also extending their seasons were top individuals not on qualifying teams. Playing in the Monday qualifier:

Hayley Komrij, Montgomery.

Emily Hulsman, Casa Grande.

Sarah Jane Catarozoli, Petaluma.

Ivy Lee Senn, Petaluma.

Cardinal Newman ace Megan McConnell qualified for the NCS Division II finals, also on Monday, in McKinleyville.
