High school soccer: Healdsburg boys remain unbeaten

Undefeated Healdsburg, tuning up for upcoming Sonoma County League play, breezed to an 11-0 win over Clear Lake in Lakeport on Tuesday.

Diego Jimenez led the offensive onslaught with three goals Coming up with two goals apiece were: Gerardo Duran, Joel Anguiano and Oscar Rodriguez.

“This is the best start we’ve had in the four years I’ve been coaching at the school,” Herbert Lemus said.

Healdsburg put the game away with five goals in the first half. Keeper Jose Rosillo was credited with the shutout.

The Greyhounds are now 5-0-2.

RINCON VALLEY CHRISTIAN 3, DREW 0

At Rincon Valley Christian, Robbie Leng scored two goals and Maxwell Cantrell had a goal and a assist as the unbeaten Eagles won their third straight.

Nick Dolan was in goal for the winners.

KELSEYVILLE 4, EL MOLINO 1

At Forestville, the Knights scored three unanswered goals in the second half to get the road win. Omar Rodriguez led the way with two scores.

In girls soccer:

ANALY 5, CARDINAL NEWMAN 2

At Cardinal Newman, Brooklyn Varnadore had four goals to lead the Tigers to the nonleague victory.

HEALDSBURG 5, ST. HELENA 4

At Healdsburg, Grace Pillinini scored three times as the Greyhounds held on for the victory.

Healdsburg led 3-1 at halftime.
