Sami Zepponi scored a pair of goals as Analy remained undefeated in Sonoma County League play with a 5-0 victory over Piner on Wednesday night in Sebastopol.

On one goal, the junior midfielder dribbled through five defenders and knocked the ball into the net. The second score was a breakaway following a free kick by Amanda Nebozuk.

“The breakaway goal was pretty spectacular,” Tigers coach Brittney Briones said. “Nebozuk’s kick was over the defense and Zepponi caught up with it and then beat the goalie.

“We worked the ball through the middle most of the game and played great as a unit.”

Keeper Camille Cavey was credited with the shutout.

Brooklyn Varnadore, Jessie Cahill and Erika Munoz had the other Analy goals.

The Tigers are 7-0 in league and 12-1 overall.
