Clearlake Police on Monday arrested one man, and are seeking information on a second, in connection with a suspected drive-by shooting last month.

Jose Murillo, 35, of Clearlake was booked into Lake County Jail on Monday after he was identified as the driver in an incident in which the passenger reportedly fired a single shot from a rifle into a crowd gathered for a barbecue in the 1400 block of Cresta Avenue on May 30.

Murillo was arrested after an officer conducted a traffic stop for a mechanical violation Monday. Murillo was a passenger in the car.

Based on the investigation, Clearlake Police officers are searching for Shade Hill, 29, of Clearlake. Police describe Hill as a person of interest in the case.
